Dear Jane

A-7
This is my first try at a Dear Jane block.  Not sure if I'll do more or not.  You can definitely see my stitches.  I was using silk thread, but I guess it was too light.  It's so fine that I didn't think it would show.
The A-7 block on the Dear Jane CD is different from the one in Brenda's book.
This one is kind of like Brenda's.......giggle.
Well, now I can say I started my Dear Jane.

If this is your first - I think you did a terrific job. They are not all applique blocks Billie. I've got all the piece blocks done, but putting off the applique - there might be a time I;m laid up and they will be perfect to tackle then. Keep at it.

Oh my gosh! I think it is perfection! I think you can see that it is stitched.. pssst it's a quilt.. you can't see some bright yellow thread used on a white block.. It is GREAT! Keep on trucking.

Beautiful block and beautiful stitching! I love the fabrics you used to create the block.
